A3 How It Works

One source of local knowledge, from feasibility through approval.

Step 01: Start with the site and project type.
01

Start with the site and project type.

Before you commit capital or start design, Rhonda helps your team assess feasibility and surface local permitting risk.

Step 02: Map the local permitting path.
02

Map the local permitting path.

See the required approvals, likely timeline, submission process, local contacts, and jurisdiction priorities for your project.

Step 03: Give the design team local requirements.
03

Give the design team local requirements.

Rhonda provides jurisdiction-specific checklists and guidance, then checks the plan set as the design develops.

Step 04: Work through review to approval.
04

Work through review to approval.

Triage comments, plan responses, and carry what you learn into the next project in your portfolio.

A4 Why Rhonda

One permitting process across changing jurisdictions.

01

Knows how your jurisdiction handles your project type.

Rhonda brings together the local process, submission requirements, regulations, contacts, and reviewer priorities that shape permit approval.

02

Starts before you commit to a site.

Compare sites with the likely approval path, timeline, and permitting risk in view before your team commits capital.

03

Carries local knowledge into design.

Give designers the right checklist up front. As the plan set develops, Rhonda checks it against local requirements and cites each finding.

04

Builds knowledge across your portfolio.

Carry research, review comments, and project outcomes forward instead of rebuilding your permitting knowledge for each new jurisdiction.

A5 Built For

A6 FAQ

Questions, answered

01
Who is Rhonda for?

Rhonda is built for commercial solar, battery energy storage (BESS), and EV charging infrastructure developers. The best fit is a team running repeat projects across jurisdictions where permit delays put schedules and capital at risk.

02
How early can we use Rhonda?

Start before you commit to a site. Rhonda supports feasibility and preplanning, then carries the same jurisdiction knowledge through design, plan checking, review comments, and permit approval.

03
What can Rhonda tell us before we choose a site?

Rhonda helps you understand feasibility, the likely approval path and timeline, required submissions, local contacts, reviewer priorities, historical precedents, and permitting risk.

04
Does predictable permitting mean a guaranteed outcome?

No. Rhonda provides a data-backed view of the expected process, timeline, requirements, and risk. Jurisdictions can change their process or make project-specific decisions, so Rhonda does not guarantee an approval date or outcome.

05
How does Rhonda know what a jurisdiction requires?

Rhonda uses official regulations, applications, checklists, local guidance, and project-specific information. Where available, public records, historical permit data, review comments, and customer outcomes add more context.

06
Where does plan checking fit?

Plan checking is a core Rhonda capability. Once a plan set exists, Rhonda checks it against applicable regulations and local requirements, finds coordination issues and missing information, and cites the drawing and regulatory source for each finding.

07
What plan sets can Rhonda check?

Rhonda checks commercial solar, BESS, and EV charging plan sets across architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines. You can run a check during design or before submission.

08
What file formats do you accept for plan checking?

PDF today. Send the same plan set you would submit to the jurisdiction.

09
Will my plans or data be used to train AI models?

No. Rhonda does not use customer plan sets, drawing sets, reports, project files, or customer-specific materials to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models unless you explicitly agree in writing. Read the full commitment in our privacy policy and terms of service.

10
Who at Rhonda can access our project data?

Only authorized Rhonda personnel with a legitimate business need, such as providing support, debugging processing issues, maintaining service reliability, securing the platform, or helping with a customer-requested review. We prohibit casual access to customer files.

11
Does Rhonda sell or share customer data?

Rhonda does not sell customer data or share it for unrelated purposes. We use customer data to provide and operate the service. Trusted providers process data only as needed to provide their services to Rhonda.

12
Will our project materials appear in demos or marketing?

No. We will not use customer plan sets, reports, screenshots, project names, client materials, or customer-identifiable materials in demos, marketing, public examples, blog posts, or sales materials without written permission.

13
Can you sign our NDA?

Yes. Send it over and we'll get it signed before you share project materials.
